Hi everyone,
Apparently I'm going to give this address as a reference to my artworks. So well, I should post more often and talk a bit about what I'm doing at the moment to make myself look good for future employers
Dear Beloved lovely future employers, I'm hardworking, great with women, full of new ideas, and a life full of adventure. although one of them is a lie, the others are true.
So what exactly is happening right now?
Well, now I can say that eight months ago, I moved to Australia. As you may know I have a background in Mechanical Engineering, as much as I love engineering, I need to keep the balance between my two personalities. So I started getting into game designers society in Melbourne. Unfortunately, nowadays there are very few huge companies, and everyone's busy with indie games, which well, in my opinion is not still in its right direction after all these years. I will write another journal about it later.
So, as some of you know two months ago it was Global Game Jam "GGJ", and I joined the jam.
For those who know what it is, skip this paragraph. It's a competition held in 100+ countries during 48 hours. And in a tense and friendly environment you will make a game with your teammates. For more information, ask google what it is about.
Well I was in charge of arts and modeling and texturing etc etc. in one word all the visuals.
The theme this year was "Ouroboros" which is a symbol of cycle of life. So we made a ring and you as a character are living inside this ring and you are trying to find your soulmate to breed and then you will play as your child. It can be a bit addictive, Which is good for a game done in 48 hours. We didn't win any trophies although the game and the experience and making new friends and future co-workers will always be the best trophy.
Here is a link to Clinton Shephard's weblog about the game, you can download the last build of the game for free.
foolhardygames.com/Here are some screen captures of the game.
You can play the game in fullHD, all the textures are high-res enough to be seen in fullHD. But for the needs of this journal I decreased the resolution.
Well, that will wrap everything up. I will be glad to know your opinion and reviews.
Have lots of fun. LOTS OF FUN!
